High School Team Info

Huntsville Lacrosse Association will field three 9th-12th grade boys squads, and two girls teams for the Spring ’10 season for all interested players in the area. Assignment to the three Boys Lacrosse teams are defined as:

Grissom Tigers
Huntsville Panthers
Bob Jones Patriots

Non public school players (boys attending private or parochial schools) will be assigned to Huntsville, Grissom, or Bob Jones squads if their home address falls in those school zones.  Players who live in other areas of North Alabama will be assigned as follows:

Bob Jones region:

  • Sparkman HS
  • East Limestone HS
  • Madison, Athens, Decatur and areas West

    • Huntsville region:

  • Buckhorn HS
  • Hazel Green HS
  • Lee HS
  • C.I.T.Y HS
  • Johnson HS
  • Columbia / New Century HS (Less Redstone Arsenal Housing)
  • Areas North / East of Hazel Green and Buckhorn

    • Grissom region:

  • Redstone Arsenal resident players (regardless of school)
  • Butler HS
  • Areas south of Hampton Cove

    • Girls High School Lacrosse Teams

    Girls High School Lacrosse will have a Varsity and JV team this year, with an evaluation session to select teams in January for all girls interested in playing on Varsity. We are looking for parents to help as assistant coaches for both teams to help Coach Jenny and Coach Kristen.
