Coach Cos’writeup about the weekend now posted on the front page of BamaLax.com.
The BamaLax Superstars (U11 state team) went to Parkland, Florida to avoid the cold over the weekend of March 7-9. We hoped they would perform well against strong competition, but we didn’t expect them to win 3 of 4 games! They stunned the U11 team from Yorktown, NY on Friday night. Saturday morning, they lost to a tough and experienced Gators team from central Florida. Saturday afternoon, BamaLax beat two of the hosting teams, Parkland Silver and Parkland Black.
Max and Tyler represented BamaLax from Huntsville Lacrosse. Max played attack and some middie, rarely took a breather, and was BamaLax’s leading scorer for the weekend. Tyler scored one against Yorktown & played solid transitional defense at middie. Pictures from the weekend are linked from our 2008 Pictures page.
