Let’s hear from our girl players! We want you to have an opportunity to play this spring!
Girls lacrosse is a similar but distinct sport from boys lacrosse. It places more emphasis on stickwork, speed and positioning rather than the physical contact found in boys lacrosse.
There is no body checking in girls lacrosse. Except for the goalie, girl players don’t wear bulky gloves, helmets or arm/shoulder pads. Girls must wear protective eyewear/mouthguard, and typically wear gloves for grip, like a batting glove.
