Do you want to help HLA as an assistant or head coach? We can teach you how!!
Several of the Huntsville coaches and assistant coaches recently attended the US Lacrosse Level 1 Lacrosse Coaching training class in Birmingham. It was very helpful for how to best teach and lead young players.
We can train anyone who wants to help our teams with assistant coaching. We have lists of drills, manuals and books that we have developed and collected as reference materials. No experience is needed, and we can prepare you to be an effective youth lacrosse coach.
We need more assistant coaches to step up and help our boys and girls head coaches in order to meet the increasing number of kids that want to play in Spring 2008.

We need coaching support for this spring, and this clinic can get you up to speed on what to do, teach skills and help develop our program. This clinic will benefit both the experienced and COMPLETE beginners too.
There are 2 clinics on 11/17: one for Boys and one for Girls Lacrosse
We must expand our coaching ranks in order to meet the challenge of future growth. Even if you’re new to the game, we’ll support you and help you learn… and reimburse your costs for US Lacrosse membership.
We have the kids to field a number of teams, however our need is in coaches to help support these eager boys and girls in learning and playing.
US Lacrosse Coaches Education Program Level 1 Instructional Clinics is November 17th (Birmingham Clinic Flyer link). US Lacrosse will be sending a “coach’s coach” down from their headquarters in Baltimore to the Birmingham class, so we’re expecting high quality instruction. Active US Lacrosse membership is required through the day of the event.
